The 'Kick' Sock
Once I told a lifting friend that he should look at getting a pair of deadlift socks. He then proceeded to go to the local sporting goods store, flag someone down and ask them for "deadlift socks." You can imagine how that interaction went.
Anyway, we aren't friends any more. Not because of the sock thing.
